Research

Research Areas

My research interests are physiological signal analysis (e.g., EEG), affective computing, human-computer Interaction, and neural engineering. My current research work focuses on:

  • Brain and body signals to recognise and measure academic emotions (e.g., boredom)
  • Neurobiological mechanisms of emotions and other cognitive states (e.g., attention) in education or learning contexts
  • Emotion visualization system for stakeholders (e.g., teachers).
  • Digital phenotype markers for students’ mental health.
